97 dx with 99 si harness

Can a 97 dx motor to run with a 99 si ECU and harness............i know it wont run right but will work ??

in what car? yes, you could put a 99 si harness on a 99 dx motor and you'd have nowhere to plug in the vtec or knock plugs, and your IACV would have two wires reversed, but it could be done. however, unless you're putting this motor and harness in a 99-00 civic, then it would be retarded.
