you guys have to check this out!!
Well, it may not be all that cool to some of you, but it blew me away when i got in it...
I pulled this car into the shop today, it's a 1983 Civic with 28,000 miles on it!! the thing looks like it just rolled off of the assembly line. All original, not a scratch on it!! it still had the blank plates where the stereo goes because it's never had one installed!
too bad it's an automatic 4-door, but I still thought it was pretty cool to see one in this kind of shape.

20 years after and this looks still brand new, yet. A collection piece. Doesn't matter even if the transmission is automatic, cause the car is too clean.

No... If you buy this car, don't change the motor or something else. Keep it all 100% original. 0 modification. Is the owner of this civic is old? Maybe, he was (or she was) the lone owner...
That is one nice looking car considering it's age. If I had my hands on it, it would be 100% OG. Nice collectors piece, time to register as a classic.

I'm just putting a stereo in it (cheap tape deck and a pair of 4's) No holes are being cut (thank god) and it can all be put back to original later.

http://www.civic1200.com is the right forum for first and 2nd gen civics.. there are a lot cleaner examples of first gens than 2nds.. the 2nds are just really ugly.. hehee.
Wow! Thats clean! A few years ago I had a guy in a 79 Civic Hatchback pull up to me at a gas station once and talked to me about my car. Real nice guy and his 79 was MINT! Had 30k miles on it! Looked brand new, he said he bought it from some old people in Norway or something crazy like that?!
Its funny that you just posted that civic sedan, because I'm in the process of getting a 84 civic hatch with 95K on it for free, only thing is that it needs a tranny. But I'm thinking about doing a swap, not sure in what direction I want to take.
