yea seriously.. i think some places might be coo wit the zip tie idea.. and oh go to the chp office.. they usually dont charge for ticket corrections, but alot of local sherriff depts do
zip ties are fine. i got 2 tickets for not havin my front liscense plate on. then i zipped tied it to my grill and havent gotten a ticket for it. still get pulled over but they never say anything about the zipties
if the cwest bumper has that bolt hole in the grille area, the Y bracket SHOULD fit. on my JDM ITR bumper, the Y bracket fits fine into the bolt hole in the grille, though the license plate is off center.
Otherwise, zip tie! Usually CHP's have better luck. When I got mine signed, they didn't even come out to the car. They just looked at it thru the window, and signed it off. Good luck!

good idea vap133, thats what i was thinking. where can i get velco tho? btw guys, i just got an extension for my fix it ticket =D
what I did was break the license plate holder in two pieces. Have it anywhere in your car along with the plate.
When a cop pulls you over, show him the evidence why your front plate is not installed... and hope for the best

You can buy velcro at a hardwear store, they usually sell it by the foot, thats what I used when I took out my back seats to secure the carpet, pretty strong grip, and I never have my front plate on, how much is the ticket? and also I always see people rolling around with there front plate on their dash, is this legal (its ugly) but is it legal?
ok guys as far as i kno it is NOT legal to put the front plate on ur dash displayed thru the windshield.
And here is why you shouldn't besides the fact that it is not legal:
My friend knows a girl who died in her bf's car because they got into an accident and the collision cause the plate to go flying back and landed in the girls throat as she sat in the passenger seat.
So any more geniuses want to put their plate in the window??? SOrrie but i personally value my gf life too much.

Ummm....ouch that sucks, yeah the same with those fire extinguishers that people put on their door pillar Ive heard to many stories of those thing taking people out, stupid...
This might be a little too much work but you might be able to mount the y bracket if you rig up something and attatch to the frame. It will require some creative thinking but will be clean if you can pull it off

ziping it to the grill. where are you gonna get your air to cool youre radiator. Don't say its gonna flow around it either. its like head porting, Oh the air will just flow around that Massive valve guide. No it doesnt. go frontless, you can afford the car, you can afford the f-ing ticket.
