Default Trannies

Is it true that you have to change the hubs on the hf to use an Si tranny or is this just some crap someone made up? Is there anyway around it?

As long as you use your HF/STD axles you do not have to change the hubs.

That is what I said. He is wanting to put an Si tranny in an HF. As long as he uses his current axles he will not have any problems. The Si axles will not work on an HF/STD hubs.

Okay thanks for the input and for you agreeing. Why won't the si axles fit the hf hubs? Is the hole to small? Can I drill the hole out?

Different Spline count and the HF/STD outer shafts are quite a bit smaller (more then likly because of the spline count). Here is a tip never try this HF/STD outer CVs in any hubs that are not HF/STD. I've done this bad, bad, bad and $$$$$$
