I am located in Northern Virginia, and I need to get my car tuned.
I have a built b16. Stock sleeves, JE 9:1 pistons, eagle H beams, arp headstuds, etc. t3/t4 turbo .60 trim.
I would like to know who is just an outstanding tuner that is within driving distance and what the going rate is. Im tired of paying out the *** at autothority.
Thanks

Steve Sakai is the man. he has been a hondata dealer for a while and really has a good understanding of how to effectively tune cars running hondata as well as non hondata) systems.
From what Doug@Hondata has told me, SGT is pretty damn good. Though there are quite a few people that is qualified to tune the system.

If you go to the Hondata website, you can see the list of all licensed tuners in your area. Since you say that your in VA, I believe that the closest is Steve Sakai, which a lot of people here have already mentioned. I actually picked up my Hondata from him last year, nice guy, kind of hard to get a hold of though, but still nice and willing to answer your questions...... IF YOU CAN EVER get a hold of him. Best way to contact him is email.. He usually responds to emails within a day. Don't try calling though.
Tom Payn is a excellent tuner who will fly in if you pay for his ticket and stay. He is the greatest, he is the master of the universe.
I'm getting my car tuned by him later this month hopefully, once I get my stupid turbo and Hondata in, then I can get it tuned, he is the best, get it done by him.. Say I told you, say my name, maybe I'll get a discount when I go to him!
Gotta save some money ya know?
