Default JDM B20 Question????? Some Advice please

I Picked UP a b20 JDM, W/OUT A TRANNIE. and was wondering what would be the best 1.8 liter cable trannie that I could use withe best gearing. Also dose antone know the hp/torque fugures on the motor, I believe its an non obd car, notor seems to be a '90. If anyone could help or atleast point me in thr eight direction I would be most apprechietive. Thanks -Cole

best all around as far gear ratios and ability to do rebuilts, get clutches and overall upgradability is the 92-3 YS1 tranny. (some JDM units came with the LSD).

JDM B20B = 146hp, tq, I forgot, but I want to believe its in the high 120's.

Best tranny would be a tranny from a 1999-2000 Civic Si or USDM ITR

Why the ? In his post, he wasnt even sure if it was a non-OBD motor. If it IS an OBD motor, than the Si or ITR trannies would be best.

on me

What led me to believe that he had could use a Hydro Tranny is that he was uncertain whether if it was an OBD or OBD1. Thats why I suggested a hydro when in fact he wanted cable.

Besides, what kind of chassis is this going in?

Everyone......Thanks for the input, I do believe it did come out of a 90 prelude over in jap land. Number wise, maybe there not that impressive, but always remember a cheap higher comp. piston with a stock head is can be some really respectable torque as well as a daily driver. Leavingit stock w/some high. comp. pistons in a 89 rex si would bw fat. Especially if its obd-0 and I could lace my si harness on the motor. I also may have acess to a b18c5 head/dist. etc. Just for putting his stock motors head back on and retiming it. so things probally will work. Someone always buys the hassport b series swap plates and never completes there install , so im retty sure i can find them,
Ques. # 2. What ecu dose it normally function with
#3. What usdm ecu is compatable with this non-vtec poss. torque monster

Thanks for the advice..
