Default Which pistons for B18C1!

Which Honda pistons would be the best application for my GSR motor? Which will yield the highest compression ratio? JDM CTR, JDM ITR, JDM Del Sol,
JDM CTR/ +.25 or other reccomendations? I have JDM CTR intake cam and plan on using JDM ITR exhaust cam with it. And which valve springs for that matter? JDM or USDM aftermarket does not matter- best bang for buck on valve springs?

Thanks for reading post and replying

the 00-01 ( not sure of the years) usdm itr have ctr intake cams, so the usdm valve springs would be good. and pistons...all of those choices are good.

ctr remember you gotta add that .3 cuz of the square combustion chamber on the gsr head...you dont need to get any valve springs if your gonna keep the same redline gsr has dual in the intake side already port and polish would help tho

The CTR pistons will put you just over 12:1, the JDM ITR or PR3(USDM b16a) pistons would put you at 11.3:1, the USDM ITR would put you at 10.8:1. I'd say go for the CTR pistons if you're prepared to do a little extra tuning. I'd also swap out your springs for ITR springs while I had it apart, but it's not absolutely necessary.

where can one sourceout the jdm itr pistons? i've been loking for a compression level right around 11.3.1 and have beeen loooking for pistons that'll work on the stock gsr rods(plan on shot peeining them to smooth em out). and if i go with the str pistons i'll end up having to find a gas station that sells over 91 octane out her ein colorado. so 11.3/7.1 would suit the gsr perfectly. could get an extra.4 out of a thinner head gasket but would probably be right at the 11.5.1 compression after apot and polishof the upper block. hmm sounds just like a type r.

USDM ITR is right around 10.6:1 so you'd be higher than that. Sounds like the PR3 piston might be as good an option for you as the JDM ITR at least cheaper. Both cross eBay regularly so you can get a good deal. I just sold a set of Spoon JDM ITRs on eBay last week.
