minor height adj. on non-adj. shock??
hey gang.
So I was chatting with my buddy the other day, and he was telling me how he just installed a set of progress springs with tokico non-adjustable shocks on his 89 hatch. He was telling me how he was messing around with that bolt-thing that comes out the top of the shock (the thing that comes through the top of the strut tower inside the enginebay/trunk area) and that if you tighten/loosen it a bit, the height changes slightly..
anyone know if this is true, or if this is OK do to, or anything about this matter? I would try, but my cars back at home in the garage while I'm down here at school.
I really wanna see if this works, cuz I wanna get rid of the unbalance height in the front; you know, where the driver's side is slightly lower than the pass. side. Since its a tiny difference, if this bolt adj. thing works, that would be sweet. thanx.

Dont do it, you'll have a shock tower with lots of play. All that extra movement will make for increased sound, ie: thumping. And possibly damage the mount from the excessive movement.
