that won't work! even if you do and actually get to court...all the cop have to say/do is that he had a probable cause. end of story, your case will be dismissed and you just lost a few thousand bucks. unless the pigs were "physical" towards you, you just gotta suck it up and realize they, unfortunatly and unfairly, got the "power" to just about anything they want...that is why I HATE COPS!!!

That sucks man....did they ask if they could search the car? Did they even have a probably cause?

Id say get a lawyer and see what he has to say about the situation

Um.. You were parked in a handycapped zone. You just gave the cops a reason to batter you. And why do you have to say, "blkack guy cant have a nice car unless he sell drugs!" I don't know but to me that sounds like you are making it a racial issue. I know many colored folks w/ nice cars. Just don't park in a handycapped zone and you should be straight next time.

 

 

Parking in a handicap zone does NOT equal probably cause to search a vehicle. I'm a law student and I just wrote a paper on search and seizure and the Fourth Amendment and according to your statement of the situation, I'd say the cop had no reason to search your car nor did you have to allow him. Unless he has reasonable cause, he HAS to ask your permission to search.

Also, there was a big story this past year where NJ State Troopers were found to racial-profile drivers.

 

That sucks dude...don't park where youre not supposed to next time espeically w/that kind of car.

 

don't park in hadicapped spotas and you won't have a problem. Quit being an *** and walk the extra ten feet.

It does not matter if the lot is empty or not, he should not have been in the handicapped spot to begin with. That spot is there to help people with disabilities, not so that able-bodied people can have an easier walk to wherever they are going.

 

what does this have to do with appearance/cosmetic ?
