is there such a engine, d16a8? a local shop is selling a long block for 1500. he claims that it has 170hp. sounds to good to be true to me. also, would this bolt on to the crx? what mods do i have to make if i have a dx model? any info would help, thanks.................................

A d16a8 would be the equivilant of a ZC. The 170hp thing has to be bs, and $1500 is too much.. but I'm not sure how much engines cost in Guam though..

yup, a d16a8 is the cat version of the dohc 16v that came in uk spec mk2 cars with and has 130bhp

 

There was no type R over here. We got the B16A1 powerd CRX VT (JDM SiR) with 150hp
