this is not very technical but i was resently banned from honda tech for **** my roomate was doing under my username and tom is out there giving my IP adress out...now im not to sure what you could do with that but i dont like the sound of it.

TOM if you read this thread hit me up so we could get this **** worked out

ohh and as for my roommate i pulled out all his sparkplug wires for payback
he has a sweet 64 nova with sparkplug wires on the drivers seat and has a date
tonight...its gonna be fun to watch him put it all back together in the dark

we actually do...were both respected techs he works at cadiallac i work at a chevrolet dealer but i drive a honda...he didnt think he would get me banned
hes outside re-wiring his plugs now he got a good laugh out of it

No you can't, you cant force DHCP IP changes from client computers unless you have a lease that has no expiry on the DHCP server, most ISP's have a fixed lease duration which cannot be changed on the client side.

Depends on the OS. Could be WINIPCFG on a 98 machine.

 

not in DOS prompt. Ipconfig works on all Windows.

 

95-ME winipcfg in the run box then hit release and renew

2000-XP dos prompt ipconfig /release and then ipconfig /renew

as I sit here at work telling people to do this **** all day hehe
