Default Honda GURU's please read

well my tps broke..(picking a new one up tomorrow) but car ran ok with out the TPS no surges or anything all last night...today i got to start the car it starts...runs but stalls every now and then..then i go to start it and it wont even fire just cranks over..so we push it back to my house then i hope in and it fires right up...my check eng. light was on when i took teh broken tps (into 5 peices) out...its still just throwing a code 7 but its crazy i start it up now..she fires right up..runs for about 2 minutes then just dies like shuts of doesnt stutter just like shuts off like it would if i pulled the key out and stuff...any suggestions here before i just go pick the tPs up maybe need somthing else while im there...please let me know what you think.

would the TPS do this?

Did you get on it without the tps working? If so you could really mess some **** up. You may have leaned out because your tps position was in closed throttle positon but you were really at wot, and your ecu couldn't tell because the tps wasnt sending it a signal. Im not sure, just a guess.
