5-bolt ?

I have a t3/t04e turbo with a 4-bolt flange. Would I be able to cut off the flange and get this http://store.yahoo.com/cheapturbo/gart3forstyl.html welded on instead to make it a 5 bolt so I can hopefully clear the block easier on my ls?

no.
the 4 bolt turbo usually clears better than the 5 bolt anyway.

doesnt the 4 bolt flow better anyways? looks better, wtf is up with the 5 bolt design, why such a weird shape?

Because its an old casting from Ford that used an external WG.
