Test drove a Suzuka Blue Metallic S2K yesterday!
It had 10k miles on it once I started the ignition before pulling out and put another 10k miles after. I'm pretty much speechless up to this point about how great the handling on this car is. It's very light and the car turns and responds whenever the steering is moved. I tested the handling when I approaced a bridge with a U bend. And my reaction was,
OMG, the whole car is turning compared to my sedan. It felt like I was drifting but with grip. Crazy phenomena. Crazy handle, nonetheless.
Oh, get this, I love the shifter feel.
Oh my lord. That thing just goes in every gear, meaning precise shifting. You gotta be a lowsy driver if you indeed misshift on this car. ****, that thing just clicks, point and shoot. I only took it up to about 7k rpms because the car is so new that I'm actually the first person that get to test drive this awesome car.
I tell yah, Heel/Toe shifts at it's best. Hell yah I heel/toed that car just to feel how accurately it responds to revs. Woot! It's a knock out dood. Six gear downshifting and heel/toe combos in every gear made my test drive an unforgettable memory. It's a head turner, I tell yah. Everyone is stareing at me.
I didn't care because I'm driving one of the most appreciated automobile in the planet. All it matter was that I bring this damn car in one piece back to the dealership and it was just between me and the car or else!
Anyway, I should've said in the beginning that I'm in the market for a new car. Didn't bring the car home but I'm looking forward to test drive the 350z and the evo VIII. Once it's done, decision will take place and hopefully will be bringing an awesome car back home.
The S2K was priced at $33k and the dealership was willing to let go for that price but once again, decisions haven't made yet. Just would like to share a fun and unforgettable test drives I've ever had.

Ahh! Yes. I should've huh! I already had the chance to but being such a nice person wasn't only the reason why I didn't just went all thru redline. I was more interested on the handling characteristic. Not to be mean and all but on a straight line, my turbo 4 door sedan will keep up if not even walk on the s2k. But that's beside the point, the s2k has superb handling and I'm really liking it. Very fun to drive and great design. Body rigidity is superb. Great car nonetheless.
BTW, that suzuka blue was sold yesterday. Love the color and I'm still looking forward to test drive the other 2 cars I mentioned.

If anyone have something to share about the 350z or the Evo, I don't mind hearing your comments. I know the Evo is already here in the states and haven't seen one on the road yet.
apples and oranges... you should be able to get a new s2k for $30k... you'll be hard pressed to get $3k+ discounts on the 350Z or the Evo.

Nope. Went to a mitsu dealer yesterday and they had 5 new ones. All had deposits, but nobody came in to buy them. BTW, they aren't even acknowledging the deposits, you could go in and buy one right away. However...

They were marking up the evo VIII 10k!!!

They won't let anyone test drive or sit on the car unless you're serious on buying one. I totally understand about the whole ordeal but how the hell can they expect from a buyers perspective to purchase the Evo if the buyer have not even sat on one.
Well, to make the long story short, I was forced by a salesman that is so clueless about the car and wanted to run some numbers with me even though I really would hate to pay the extra 10grand markup and was ready to walk out. I wasn't ready to bring the Evo home because I wasn't ready. Haven't test driven it, sat or even smell it's newly distinctive interior odor. Therefore, I just bullshitted my whole way out with the finance personnel with his so called best deal of 84 months for $584 a month with 10grand down.
Hahaha.. dood's funny.Anyway, Evo is now been put on hold until this crappy *** so called mark ups mellows down a bit. The most I can pay for a markup is 2 grand which total to a little over $32k. That's it. No mas!
I was kinda glad that I didn't walk out with the car. I just don't like being ripped off.
used nsx?
That's also an option but the one that I can really afford or in the price range will have a high mileage. Not down for that.
