Well i took some videos w/ a sony digital camera, its shitty quality but not bad still pics.

Here:

40 to 120 mph

Yeah yeah, i dont have my seat belt on (so i can hold the camera w/ my left hand, drive w/ my kneed, and shift w/ my right hand LOL dont try this at home!!

Also, The check engine light comes on when i hit 8 psi (my boost gauge )

I couldnt see the tach while i was driving, but if im close in the race, ill shift up to 7400 rpms.

Yes, it is a Check Engine light, didnt you notice it goes away when i shift?

I stated the reason in my first post, but i will again.

Within the EMS software you can configure the output of the CEL to come one at a certain number of parameters.... In my case, I have my Check Engine Light to come on at 8 psi. Its basically my boost gauge. ( i use my laptop to monitor boost when Im actually out boosting a lot.)

Nice vids, I just got a digital camera that takes video and sound too and was thinking of doing some vids. Just don't want to be driving with my knees. I was gonna try taping the camera down to my steering wheel with some packing or duct tape.

cool...working on my kit now. i grew up in gainesville. i was back visiting this weekend. saw 2 turboed hondas. ebp 99-00 si and 90ish hb. if i ever can manage a weekend at home i hope to get my turbo on my car.

what car and turbo setup are you running?. I love boost

 

I'm not trying to be a smart ***, but by judging by the tach, it doesn't seem to be pulling very hard in the 40-120 vid. Are you at WOT or is it just the longer geared LS? This is only 8psi correct? It just seems to me that it should be pulling a lot harder. Seems you like playing with the EMS. I was thinking of going with the EMS but I decided on Hondata for a little easier tune. Anyhow to a nice setup. And continue to keep us posted.

Look at it again, carefully, look at the speed increase to rpms increase, 3rd gear is extremely long on the LS tranny.

i believe the ls has a 1.27:1 third gear, while the gsr has 1.36:1 plus you have to add the final drive differences into the picture as well.


I beat a NSX w/ some bolt ons on top end....so it cant be that slow

At first I thought there was something wrong with your car and than when the light shut off during the shift, I'm like what tha fu@k and thinking did he wire something up here or what.

Than of course I read the discription and thought it was pritty cool..
