Default Quick question about axles!! Please look.

Hey guys, I was just wondering if axles off of a 93 Hatch would work on my 89 STD?? If so, I will be replacing them ASAP!

Default Standards are smaller at the knuckle end than SI/DX/EX

Don't know if any 5th gens came with HF/std axles.

Well if you have a B16 and no 93 Civic came with a B-series then they will not work. I think 00 Si axels might work though.

Well if you have a B16A in a STD (I will assume u didn't do the swap) then you either have had the knuckles switched out to Si ones, or you have some frankenstein axels with the STD outer part, but I HIGHLY doubt that.

I was under the understanding that CRX HF axles and Civic STD axles were the inferior smaller ones...therefore you'd need to use the ones specifically specified for that application.
