Like I said above, Shes almost done, but I'm having trouble making my final decision. Here's what my car will look like when finished:


Here's the wheels that I have yet to receive, but have ordered: Royal Gunmetal Rota C-8s.


Anyway, My problem is deciding if I should have my front lip and the rest of the lower body trim painted white when I have the car repainted, along with the door handles and mirrors. My othe option being leave the lower molding black while painting everything else white and then install a CF front lip.

I'm sure both would look good, but I'm having trouble deciding. Let me know what you think. White lower trim all around or leave it black and get the CF lip?

 

Paint it. Along with the handles, mirrors, and CF hood.

 

Mirrors, handles and molding will be painted. The hood WILL NOT. I think it looks to good to cover up.

Should I leave the bottom black and add a CF lip or paint it all white to match the car?

Well on my car I was painting some si sideskirts, painting the vision mirrors (only the outside part), paint the mugen lip, painting the door handles, and keeping the EG6 thin moldings black. If I kept the stock EG sideskirts I would never paint them, they look really ugly painted, they are all round and ****.

 

I have a white coupe, and used to have everything black. Its now all white and I think it looks much better. So I say paint it.

 

paint everyuthing accept cf hood and cf lip.

You can leave the CF lip black if you like. I think it looks better painted white BUT there's a plus side to not painting it. If it gets scraped up, you won't really notice it, but when it's painted, it will stick out like a sore thumb.

I think it looks cheesy for the older cars to have everything painted.

I say paint the mirrors, handles and door moldings max.

I would not paint the side skirts, front lip(unless WW lip which I would toss a coin over).

It looks good to have some contrast instead of being so monochromatic. It works for newer cars but for the 5th gen Civic...I like the contrast. I will never paint the sideskirts on mine. Hold me to that

 

Thanks guys. So, paint everything but the hood, lip, sideskirts and rear valance? Sounds like a plan to me. Can anyone photoshop this for me?

 

i would leave the skirts and lip black and paint the rest.

 

This is member BlackB18C's car..I thik his looks dope with everything color match...but if it were me, I would keep black sideskirts...

 

Did you say you where going to buy a cf front lip...
if so dont paint it or the carbon fiber hood...
Paint everything else though, just not the carbon fiber.

I like the sideskirt...but why the hell didn't he paint the front and rear skirt to match? Looks kinda stupid that way.

IMO you should paint the stock lip white and buy a CF lip to compliment the CF hood

You mean paint the sideskirts, front and rear lip white and then replace the front lip with a CF one? Sounds good.

You think it Performs well? Naah...I get beat by cavaliers and neons all the time.
