i had a water cooled in my integra and it is a bit of a pain running the lines given the lack of clearance between the block and the turbo housing. If you have a turbo timer, you gain little in any advantages over a wet housing. my next turbo will be a dry housing.

Use synthetic oil, and don't boost for 5-10 mins before you plan to shut the car off and you'll be golden. Water cooled turbos were invented to help turbo life when the owers of OEM cars didn't change their oil regurally and shut the car off on a hot turbo.

Many dsm'ers have run watercooled mitsu turbos without coolant lines successfully for thousands of miles.
