Re: water cooled turbo ???? (DS1)
Water Cooled Turbo's Keep the cartridge A little bit cooler, It aids with keeping the oil coking on the bearings after a hot shutdown. (Ie. no turbo timer installed)
With a water cooled cartridge you don't have to let it idle down quite so long.

Re: water cooled turbo ???? (DS1)
I have one, and am glad I have it instead of a straight oil cooled.
Advantages:
1. Don't have to cool down when driving short distances
2. When you beat on her you only have to cool down like half the time or less then a oil only turbo.
3. Less coking up in the turbo
Disadvantages:
1. Have to re-route coolant lines to go through the turbo
2. Another thing possibly to leak on you.
