Cleaning air filter?
I've got a K&N clone on my cai and it's looking pretty black.... Can i just blast it with the hose or should I just replace it with another no name cone filter?
I soak mine in simple green, then wash out, then spray out, let dry, spray filter oil on there, let it sit for about an hour, then say screw it for nother 20 thousand miles
Can I use the K&N recharge kit on a non K&N filter?
Looks identical to the ones at my local parts store minues the logo stamped on the end.

i heard you can spray gasoline on it and that will clean it up nice, beats me, sounds hella messy if you ask me.
i would try the green stuff soaking method!
