Default About to swap a JDM TYPE R K20 (US=RSX) into a base automatic 5speed eww

I am going to swap a JDM TYPE R motor into a base automatic keeping it auto for the wife I will let you guys know how the progress is anyone else done this before?

Motor craped out on her (BLEW UP) hahaha and I have a extra R motor laying around at the shop so I figure what the hell. (I think wiring will be the hardest part but over all it should be okay performer.

anyone need a TYPE R 6 speed Manuel (RSX) Tranny will only fit K series $3500

that will be horrible.

If you run on the auto ECU that motor will run like ****. The VTEC systems between the two are different let alone other things.

How does a K20A3 just blow up?

Is the K20 able to use the stock auto trany? The only K series w/ an auto from what I know (which isnt that much, lol) is the new CRV. Just wondering what trann your using? Rick

Yea! All my friends are telling me that too
But I'm payn payments. and used RSX doesn';t cost that much. So i can't sell it and match my balance.
SO... i don't know realy.. but I'll stil buy DC5-R motor and keep it in my pad.
and soon as i find a cheapest shopt to do it or i'll learn it how to do it.'''
OR I MIGHT JUST GET A CHEAPEST HATCH AND PUT IT IN THERE... hehe
