ive heard from a few sources the new accord coupe with a 6 speed will be pretty hard to get, ive heard that every dealership will only be getting one, can anyone say if this is true or not? the dealer i work for is supposed to be getting ours this week sometime in black, im trying to talk my old man into getting it.....

 

i think its one for the first year. then after that they will start making more.

 

There are two accords right now that I know of that are rare:

03 six speed coupes are rare just because they're not making that many this year (Honda bases their production on previous year stats and since there's no previous year for a 6 speeds, I guess they're just testing the waters this year)

03 Accord Sedan EX V6's are not really rare but sell fast. When I bought mine, I was lucky enough that one of the dealers in the area had 1 left, and even then they had thrown on this EPP bundle (Extra Protection Package - door guards, some fenderwell trim, splash guards) because they knew they could sell it with it on. They sell quickly right after the dealerships get the shipments in.

At my local Honda dealer (and yes I realize im in Iowa.. where domestics are popular) They CANNOT sell hardly any of the following:

Element (suprise )
Civic Si (they've had the samt 6 Si's on the lot for 7 months... )
S2000's (you can get them CHEAP here... like way below sticker)

The Accords he said are selling well and they've sold a lot of Auto V6 Coupes/Sedans.. there are a couple in my parking lot at work even now.

the 2 honda dealers near me nither one has an accord 6 speed...at least not when i went.

Only *50* 6spd coupes are coming to Canada! That is not even 1 per dealership. Crazy.
