Yeah so my aem air filter is pretty dirty and i took it off to clean it and forgot it was saturday and i dont know where to go that would be open around me for a K&N cleaning kit.......can you use household **** to clean and re-oil it or should i wait?!?

You should wait. I think you could just use a mild dishwashing detergent to clean the filter, but you should use the K&N filter oil to re-oil it.

Does anyone have that web site of the texan prelude owners that showed how to remove everythin not needed when replacing the intake?

How often do you guys clean your filter, cause mine was like almost black and i cleaned it and brushed it and rinsed it and its still almost black. Is that just how its gonna stay after use or do you guys get yours clean like new?
