i did a search and could not find what i was looking for. I'm looking to eliminate the secondary o2 sensor totally. Are there any o2 simulators out there that can actually simulate the heater circuit of the 4 wire o2 sensors? all the o2 simulators that i can find requires the sensor to be hooked up to the exhaust.

 

which ones have u been looking at??? cause i also am looking for a product like that but on that suports 5 wire 02 .Am looking at the ECG Electronics Test Pipe 02 Simulator ,from importparts.Not sure if u still need a 02 for that 1???

 

goto radioshack and buy a resistor, i think someone said a 100k would work for the heater circuit...

 

The ECG O2SIM plus a 1K resistor across the two black heater wires will enable you to run without the secondary O2 sensor.

 

This o2 is very nice and works very well.

MY D15z1 only has 1 o2 sensor and has two heater circuts inside thats why its 5 wire i think??ANyway will it work on my engine ??I dont mind putting a few resistors on just as long as my car is not throwing a cel.

p.s no i wont just take the globe out ,cause my car almost blows flames its that rich.

 

The O2SIM is only for OBDII applications that eliminate the secondary O2 sensor because of a test-pipe. The O2SIM doesn't replace the primary O2 sensor.
