Insurance Company help...
Ok so as some of you all know I wrecked the teggy
Well anyway I don't think my insurance company is going to give me very much money for my car. Does anyone know of any insurance law that saws that they must replace your car? I think that they normaly give you a check for it but I would rather they replace my car, is there any way to legally make them replace it? I need some help on this one so if you know anything about this or know who I could speak to I would really appreciate the help. Thanks!

usually how it works when you have a car declared totalled is that they find a car of comparable characteristics.. .ie they call car lots and find a teg with the same miles and ask the price and cut you a check for that amount, or they just give low blue book price. . .
insurance companies usually dont treat you well unless you pay the extra dollar on the hundred for aftermarket insurance. . .then they have to find a car of comparable value with the parts that you had on it, then you buy the car back and take the check as well and pull the parts off, buy another teg and put your old parts back on and with the check buy a street bike, or a turbo kit
derek

Sorry to inform you but there is no way that there are liable in replacing your car now if your talking about like a 2002 or something then yeah they most likely would give you enough to purchase the same vehicle again but the only thing there liable for is to give you what the car is worth even if it may end up being quite a bit less than you paid.
