Insurance Company help...
Ok so as some of you all know I wrecked the teggy Well anyway I don't think my insurance company is going to give me very much money for my car. Does anyone know of any insurance law that saws that they must replace your car? I think that they normaly give you a check for it but I would rather they replace my car, is there any way to legally make them replace it? I need some help on this one so if you know anything about this or know who I could speak to I would really appreciate the help. Thanks!

They give you the blue book price of the car. Some insurance companies will take off some $ if for example you have a interior that is stripped. When a car is tataled and you owe 10,000 and the only pay 6,000 of it that you are in debt 4,000 and will need to pay that debt off by payments or a lump sum. If you bought your car from a dealership it is always a good idea to get GAP insurance. I just tataled my civic and owed 11,000 and the blue book is a little over 6,000, I only had it for a year and a half. I would hafta pay that but I had GAP insurance. Basically the dealers pay the gap. It's only an extra 20-50 a month. Hope this helps. . .

they either give you a check for the damage but it will not exceed the amount of the car's worth blue book wise and let you keep your car or they will buy your car for the amount its worth its a shitty situation i know ive been there but its all you can do..just get a job at a body shop and use your discount and the money to fix your car with after market parts ..most likely you will have money left over but i dont know what the damage is or anything about the car so good luck
