im proably not the only one who has wondered about this , im planning to go to LA to get a carbon fiber hood , but i dont have a truck , so my question will the hood fit in the back area of the hatch if i take out my seats ? shipping was 125 and i rather just pick it up and drive a few hours away , any help appreaciated

 

Take off your hod and see if it fits. You'll soon find out

Just drive up there without a hood and put the cf one on!!!

 

It'll fit. I had a red hood on the outside of my car once, and a friend got in a rear end wreck. We pulled off his hood and it went in my hatch area, no problems.

Carry along a few towels/blankets to lay on the plastic parts so nothing gets scratched up!!

 

i know it fits in a 94+ integra if that helps any.

 

I had a ZC hood for a CRX in my '87 hatchback. There was also 3 of us in the car at the same time. It was a pretty tight fit but we got it in there and had a 30 min. ride home. Im sure itll fit.

 

it fits just bring towels and rags like the previous poster said.and oh yeah 2 people to do it right.

 

It fits, i put my hole sir frontend conversion in the back, just fold the seats down, your hood will fit fine.

 

or, you could just put it on in the parking lot of the shop you buy it from. Give them your old hood for a discount on the CF one. My buddies and i have put so much crap on in the parking lot just so we could drive home with our new hoods or axel-back 5zigen exhaust. just a thought.

 

when i went and picked up my cf hood i wasnt to sure if it would fit, but i folded down my rear seats and slipped that bastard right in with no problems, so yes it will fit
