Default Radiator fan not coming on after swap

Hey guys. Now that the car runs the radiator fan is not coming on. I switched to a bigger Koyo radiator when I did the swap. 2000 b16a2 into a 97 dx. I used the 2000 si ecu and wiring harness. Stock fan. Rewired dash to use 2000 ecu. Exhaust temps climbed to around 221 before I turned the car off.
Any ideas??

I double posted this because I get very few responses in Hybrid...

Thanks.

Sure the the theermoswitch is good???

Do you know how hot that car gets....I think the fans are supposed to cut on @ about 210-220.

depends on which gen motor you put in and whether you reconnected the fan relay temp switch. old gen motors the temp switch it behind the block next to the oil filter. newer gen motors have the switch on the thermostat houseing. first jump the fan relay plug on the engine wiring harness with the key in acc and see if the fan comes on. if it does, you likely have a bad sensor.

it doesn't matter how hot you're exhaust gasses get.

Check a few things...
-is the cooling system bled?
-is the thermostat opening up?
-does the fan turn on when directly wired to the battery?

The fan will ONLY turn on when the water inside of the radiator reaches a certain temp. With this said, it means that if the fan and relay are both good, then you're water isn't flowing to the raciator. It could be due to a few different variables including those listed above.

I did not mean to say exhaust temps. I was pissed off (could anything else go friggin wrong with my swap ), and I meant to say the temp on the scan tool climbed to 241 f.

The thermostat opens, the radiator has no flow impediments, and I am bleeding the system right now. Hopefully good news for the morning.

after my swap, I installed a del sol dual core, and I thought the fan wasn't coming on too, turns out, the car was just running that much cooler, I had to beat it up before the fan needed to come on.

Well the scan tool said 243 F, and I smelled burnt coolant so I am pretty sure I have a problem . I swapped in a Koyo while doing my swap as well. Then my car over heated while going 55 mph on a 50 degree day with a slight mist in the air. Drop it in start it my ****...
