Default I'm Officially Unofficially sponsored by alpine

I got some Alpine 1629S's (6.5" fronts) for my car today.
these speakers sound AWESOME in my car! I reccomend these to anyone getting new fronts!

they should go nicely with my alpine deck, 6x9's in the rear, and my V12 amp running it all

2 V12's are better than 1 V12.

You need to win a lot of car audio events and even then it's almost impossible to get sponsored by /////Alpine. You really have to know someone on the inside almost to even get your foot in the door. It's easier for someone that works for a store that sells Alpine (not Circuit City), I mean a custom stereo store that doesn't look at just making numbers but producing quality installs. When I used to go to Alpine training it's much easier to meet the Alpine reps and to get your foot in the door that way. I never have been sponsored by them but they used to flow me many products in the past.

Listen to him!!

It takes a very well known track record, and even that won't be enough. Most people who are "sponsored" or are on the factory team get a discount, not a free ride. It's the guys who you see on the podium at all the top SQ/SPL events who are going to get sponsorships.

In the meantime....enjoy your system, sounds like you like it alot and I bet it sounds great.

Really? I bought the whole system for $800 second hand. The preson that had it before me paid $5,500 to have Sound Advice do all the custom work. I think I got a pretty good deal.

It sounds awesome. I have a hard time not turning it up.

Anyone got more info on these ZR subs? They don't say Alpine on them anywhere, I figured they were maybe just lower end stuff... but I always wondered because they sounds *amazing*.
