Yes, Benen owned a legendary Civic that inspired many to build theirs to that same level of JDMness, but does everyone remember Jay Smith and his EG Civic Hatch??? Damnnnnnnn the paint job on it was so damn freaken nice, the best paint job on a Civic periode, he had a B20/Vtec conversion but later swapped it out for a B16A because of a small hairline crack on the cylinder walls. And yes this car was also featured in Super Street. But now he ownes yet another great ride a '98 Integra and yes that one is totaly sexy as well. Man the paint job on that one is super clean, the engine bay makes you weak on the knees because the it seems to be cleaner than the outside!!! Did I mention that that car is also featured in Super Street just a few issues ago??? Damn, I'm dyin of envy!!! Anyhow Jay seems to have connections with the FF Squad as well but seems to be more of lone wolf, not sure though.

Yeah, jays hatch was extremely nice too! I got to see in person at a show in LA a couple of years back and that thing was immaculate! Very simple and clean!

Actually, Jay's integra is up for sale, so he might be moving on to a next project.

that hatch was clean too..... didnt he have the ES Oval tuning muffler way back then before anyone even got there hatches.
