Noobie question: My alarm horn stinks...can I buy a loud one and just cut the wires and solder the n

Basically my alarm's siren is a weakass 1 tone siren that sounds more cute than scary (almost as bad as the teg's roadrunner horn. only quieter). I cant hear the damn thing when it goes off. Can I just cut the wires and solder in a loudass siren to wake up the dead?

You should be able to. Unless it is like a set of airhorns or something. Anyway, if you get another siren it should be plug n play for you.
