cooling fan and check eng light??
there is a sensor in the lower rad hose that connects to your block...take the plug out and put a wire and connect the 2...find out if your fan runs or not...if it does, then replace the sensor ($30) from your local dealer...
Thats your CTS....does your temp gauge work? if so then your fan relay is out...you can either buy a new relay or install a toggle switch to your dash and flip on the fan whenever the engine needs it.
If your CTS was bad you'd throw a code as well as run hot and very very rich since the coolant sensor is dead the computer reads a hot signal coming from the sensor and immediatly dumps fuel to the combustion chamber to make up for what the computer thinks is a lack of fuel....and if your CTS was bad then you might also be having a lean misfire that you would have already noticed.
