Have $400, need MP3 head + 4 speakers
I saw the "Have $400, need sub+amp" topic and decided to post my own topic.
For $400 or less, what would be the best MP3 head/speakers to toss in a Civic?
Keep in mind the head has to have a decent readout, as the clock on the car goes byebye when the original comes out.

For 200 you won't be able to get a good MP3 deck. Sony makes one in that price range, so does Aiwa and Blaupunk might have one in there somehwhere too. For the speakers I'd probably go for Kappas, you can get them for around 100 bucks at http://www.ikesound.com

I'd do the JVC KDSX980 (around $230 or so) and two sets of Infinity Reference. Without using a 4 channel amp the difference between the kappa's and the references will be reduced to near no difference.. unless you plan on going with a good 4 channel down the road.
I'd spend up to $250 on the deck....

To me those features are retarded. I'd rather just slip the disc in and go. None of this, face folds down, pop open CD tray, remove CD, close CD tray, face folds up... That's just unnecessary.
