pics of my hatch totaled :(
well thursday night was the demise of my little hatch with only 69,089 miles on the clock
i was hit by a ford econoline panel van and my car was totalled while turning left at an intersection. the accident was ruled no fault which means he gets nothing and i get nothing and neither of us will be fined or have any points added to our licenses
i was in a part of town im not very familliar with and waws in the left turn lane with my buddy following. there were 2 lanes (including the turning lane) on my side of the intersection and one in the oncoming direction. both of my lanes got the light and i waited a few secound and went thinking the other direction had a delayed light. when i was half way through the guy in the van relized he had a green as well and he punched it w/o looking and hit my car. i spun around and did a 180 on to a sidewalk and he hopped the sidewalk and hit a lightpole and knocked the street light off of it. the van only had a big dent in the bumper from the pole.

i had a sore ankle and a "sprained" wrist which i just found out today is broken, but this has been more of an emotional thing for me than anything. this car was my first car and my life basically, all me and my friends do are work on our cars.

i'm really sorry to hear about your incident. sad to see a clean ef gone.

At least it was an EF. You can get a new one for $300 and make it better than the first one. Sorry about your loss, and good luck with the next one

that sucks man...how was it ruled no fault? the way you described it definately sounded like he hit you. anyways, accidents suck, i totaled my 4door and i am still missing it...that was 5 months ago

sorry to hear about your accident..
good things will come out of this, it did for me - had my crash, and then upgraded from a D16Y8 turbo to a B20B with B16A head

feel your pain bro. i totaled my accord when a transit dumptruck with railroad wheels on the front and back came into my lane from the opposite side of the road and totaled my car. it was a 98 and it happened in 00'. boy was upset. i wish i had pics.

Nick, time for a 5th Gen now. That would be cool if you could get a loan and buy erics Hybrid Cx.
yea im still talking to my parents about co-signing but i have to get all the insurance figured out first. i just found out the other day that i may be getting some cash after all. i really want that car...[Modified by 88hondahatch, 9:48 PM 3/1/2003]
