I'm thinking about getting myself a pair of subs, and I was wondering if anyone has any good ideas where I can put them?

I was thinking of making a real skinny box and mounting them WAY in the back of the trunk, facing the rear seats...?

Another thought was under the rear seats? Is it even possible?

Anyone else have any ideas?

 

What size subs and how much volume do they need?

 

A real creative idea I came up with the other day is to put 4 8's in the rear footwell just behind the front seats firing up. I drew it up for my teggy but it should work in a civic too. It's a tight fit and you can't ever carry passengers back there but it's pretty slick and takes up zero trunk room.

 

You could put a heavy-duty grille/mesh over them, then carpet over that so you can have passengers in the back.

 

I am fiberglassing mine into my backseat well..
2 10" facing up, slightly angled forward. and the amps mounted on a custom rack (Fiberglassed) standing upright against the trunk cavity.
