Default sub boxes?

curious to who all out here has subs in their crv's and what size boxes are you using? i want a decent sized box for it. was thinking a custom half fiberglass box located in passenger side rear part of the cargo area so i can still access the table.

I have a floating box with one 12". Moves away easily to get the table out, but does take up quite a bit of space otherwise. It's about 15x20 with a side port.

I just received a Sound Ordinance 8" powered sub in a box from crutchfield for $95 shipped.
I hope it works out and sounds ok
Read alot of reviews about it and all were really good

I have a 12" too in a box. Pretty much if the back seats are up, it takes up about 1/4 of the cargo space

i had 4 phoenix gold subs with around 3000 watts in mine.. got frustrated not being able to carry anything..now I've 3 facing the rear glass.. still not able to carry much, but more than before.
Thought about the fiberglass in the corner, but placements for mid/high amp, sub amps, eq, batteries, etc made it kind of pointless... phoenix gold amps are pretty big

ya...i just want some bass for sound quality, not a loud vehicle lol. that's why a small box would be perfect

I bought a 12" pickup truck sub box off of amazon and put a 12" type r and a 500w mono alpine amp on the back of it.

I keep it in the area described and have it sort of held in place by those shitty plumbing hangers, it's kinda a crappy job but it's out of sight and out of mind back there.

Just two regular ole 1" screws into the plastic hold it in. it's been back there for a year and a half no issues.

it doesn't move around really and is flexible enough to where i can still get under it to get the table out and tools i keep under the cargo mat.

in hindsight a 10" would've been fine.

they had factory tweeters in those plates on the doors. they're almost impossible to find but they have good sound quality if you can track some down

would look good but i have the tailgate net installed plus i don't want to drill any holes anywhere in the trim. building a custom box for the passenger side would require no holes and still do what i need it to
