HOW TO: Install Energy Suspension Motor Mount Inserts (pics)
This was done on a 4gen, but the 5gen is basically the same. This was a joint effort between 92lude and myself. The install was done on his car. Enjoy!

I have the same inserts in my 4G and when I shift to 2nd really hard, it feels like the dash is going to rip off the firewall.
ES mounts + 6 puck clutch + 555R = like Whoa!
And yes, you will get more vibration inside the cabin. I swear I discover all kinds of new rattles everyday.

Very good write up
Quesion- I want to get the master set for my 00 lude but energy suspension only offers it for the 92-96 preludes. Can i use the master set for the 92-96 ludes for my 00 lude??
Also can anyone explain what the Manual Transmission Shifter Stabilize does?? Do they make it for preludes?

We took our time, not rushing on anything. If you worked all the way through, I'd estimate about an hour and a half with hand tools.
yet the first time we did the mounts, it took us and hour and a half to put ONE rear mount bolt back on the car
...
for you guys that will be installing the mount inserts yourself, save yourself the headache and trim the edges off the rear insert as derscribed in the write-up...
