Does exhaust leak affect performance?

I have an Apex'i Dunk cat back. Would it affect my performance if I had multiple exhaust leaks. There is some kind of rattling around the stock header/downpipe around 3000rpm because it was custom done to fit my jdm h22 header to the h23 downpipe. Also, when I installed my catback, I never had the gaskets with it. TIA.

YES
your going to suffer from pressure lost and it does make some performance difference
also may make it even louder if the gasket isnt here or not sized right

how big is the difference? is it noticeable? where CAN i get gaskets from? should i go through apex to get new exhaust gaskets or should i just go through a muffler shop or something?
what size is it?
i might be able to get you one...

it depends on the size of the hole in your exhaust. My brother had a leak in his exhaust on his civic and the car was a dog, i'm pretty sure it has something to do with back pressure. So he got it fixed and his power is restored.

dc might waste time or might not do anything. never know with the big boys
to the other guy. see if your stock gasket fits up. worth a try
yes, back pressure is a very needed thing with a n/a car, i dunno if it would be bad to the point of making it a "dog". but you might notice some difference, plus it sounds like shyt
