Hi, im a newb although i have been lurking for months. I have a 2002 accord vp, which is basically a dx, non vtec. what engine does my car have? also, what kind of potential does this engine have. Im not talking uber fast just give it a little more pep and passing power. Soon i will be swapping out my automatic (which already went on me once) for a 5 speed tranny. thanks in advance for the help

Go with the normal first mods. Intake (cold air), header, and exhaust. If you need more slip a 55 shot of nitrous in there.

 

yeah go with the basic mods...and like he said...a small shot of nitrous would help...if you want to know what engine you have...its stamped on your block...it should be to the left of you header/heatshield...and its a small silverish square...it should read something like F23 or whatever...

start off with I/h/E, tb cable tighten, tb coolant bypass

safc, n20, pulley kit later..
