Default 6 1/2" Speaker Question

im looking for some cheap yet effective 6 1/2's for the front. I was looking through crutchfield and saw these http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...nfo&i=20602K60
are these any good?

i also saw some Boston Acoustic's at my local car audio shop for 120, but thats a little pricy for me right now.

thanks

I have Kicker K6.2 components and I like them very much I dont know much about car audio stuff though. They are $200 at crutchfield but I got them new on ebay for $105. Very nice stuff.

those kickers are not bad.... the bostons are probably better...

I would recommend a 3 way speaker..

(actually i would go with seperates, but thats only because old habbits die hard, and thats what I used when I helped build a car for competition)

Out of those two I would get the bostons, but the kickers are good as well.

well....those kickers are looking better.

i bought the bostons. they sound amazing..... BUT THEY DONT FIT!

they are too big both diameter wise, and depth wise. So im going to return those and keep looking.

You'll probably have the same problem with the kickers. Most Civic installs need some type of mounting ring/adaptor.

JL makes a component set that drops in, and I believe that Crutchfield carries 2 2-way sets that drop in.
