Default Wiring a CRX for an Amp

I was looking at my crx and trying to think of the best place to run wires from the headunit to the hatch. The center console divider thing goes almost all the way back (the plastic thing with the ebrake, shifter, etc). Has anyone run the wires underneath this next to the shifter and ebrake? I plan on putting the amp in the storage lock box thing. This is a completely direct path and you would only need a couple feet of cable.

Any ideas?

Its recommended that you run your power wires on one side of your car, and all of your signal wires down the other. In my Civic, I had the power, speaker, and remote wires running down the drivers side. My rca's were run down the opposite side. Its also recommended that you not run power wires near the ecu.

your power wire can be run anywhere really... just not on top of the ecu or anything, hence the reason to run it down the other side of the car... its a small chance but the Power wire (especially large 1awt or 0 Gauge wire) could produce enough interference to maybe disturb the ecu... (highly unlikely, but I dont want to test it, do you?)

the signal wire, speaker wire, and RCA cables should be run as far away from the Power wire as possible. The interference produced by the power, and the noise from the altenator, bleads into the; RCA and or Speaker wires, and causes that lovely whine (if you have heard it, you know what im talking about) that you will forever hear in your speakers when your car is started.
