coolant lines on intake manifold, quick ?

coolant lines on intake manifold, quick ?
The 2 coolant lines next to each other on the intake manifold that are located by the distributor, there is one big line and one small one. I have the small line plugged off and I want to know if this will cause any problems, I did not plug the larger one. thanks! hope this is clear?
