Does anyone have a picture of a stock front license plate holder? When I bought my car there was just two bolts holding it to the bumper, but Majestic Honda lists a several parts. It lists the bracket (which I've seen in junkyards), frame (which I'd like to see), and two sets of two caps.

 

Doesn't anyone have or know where a pic is with these stock license plate holder parts? I know it's not an important question, but I'd like to know...

If it makes a difference, it's a 91 hatchback.

 

the bracket piece is just like a little Y bracket thats attatched to the front bumper support and to the bumper, its pretty much just a useless piece, the two small pieces go to the back of the front bumper for the screws to thread into, as for the frame piece i have no idea i havent seen a 4th gen hatch or crx with one ever. i just have mine screwed into the bumper underneth my driverside front bumper light.

sounds like you already know this, but what I have is 2 or 4 holes in the front bumper. I put the bolt throught the plate and into the threaded metal part on the other side. It's not that complicated. Why do you want the plate holder?

i have one the previous owner didnt have front plates on any of his cars but suprizinly the holder you are talkin about was in the spare tire well. i will try to find the peices later on tonight an take a pic (umm, i dont have my front plate on either )...

 

Cool thanks, yeah I'd like to see that. The reason I'm asking is because I have to buy those two pieces for the rear license plate holder, and I was wondering what the stock front one looked like to see if it's worth buying while I'm at it. I know I'd at least like the bracket because my license plate always hangs crooked for some reason, and that should fix it.

 

well honstly you probly dont need the 'holder' thing. the licence plate just slides in it and there is a little black plastic border around the plate. it would be perfectly fine with just the Y braket.

what i did on my car was put the Y braket on the car and put the plate in the holder and insted of bolting it to the bumper and teh braket, i bolted the top of the plate to the braket so the plate would be lower...then i just took off the plate cuz it was still in the way of the intercooler

 

No, I know I don't need it but I would like to see it anyway, if you don't mind posting a pic...

 

Can you post those pics, or someone else please? I gotta order the rear pieces anyway, so I want to know if I should order any of these parts along with them...
