Howard says that 500 is too much for a blown VTEC engine.....let alone a blown LS.....come on dude......not trying to low ball you but add it up.....fixing the LS.....$400 for Pistons $400 for Rods, so there your at $1300 another $100 to $300 and you could have a nice 2nd Gen B16A2 full swap.....for your engine Id still have to buy all the other swap parts.....Axles, Shift linkage, intermediate..... Just giving some food for thought.....Holla at me dog.... Im not trying to jew you Im just on a budget buildup for a LS/VTEC.....

 

well if all you are looking for is a shortblock and by all means 350 is a good deal on a LS shortblock. But i would sell mine for much less since it needs rebuild. But since the head is fine and i don't want to part it out, my price still stands at 500 for the complete shortblock. Yes for 1500 you could find a b16a2, but when you compare the two motor stock b16a2 vs BUILT b18b, i would take the b18b any day. you have stronger internals that'll handle more hp than the stock b16 motor.
I do have several offers for trades so its pending right now, but thanks for your offer.
