Default egr blockoff

i blocked off my egr and plugged the vacuum line going to it and my idle was going craaazy. would it be due to me not sealing it well enough or dos it just **** up the car.lol.

Its been done.

I'm simply putting a piece under the inlet exhaust distributor to each runner to block the gases. Everything will act like its suppossed to, but no exhaust will flow into that dist plate.

and you will get a cel? or there is a way to cheat the ECU to think it still has the egr working properly?

The only CELs if for no lift on the EGRvalve or vac solenoid malfuction, both of these will stay functional.

Most EGR cels come from the passage getting clogged and the lift on the EGR valve is blocked.
