j1 s1 and y1
JDM S1, J1, A1 and YS1 came on the Integra Xsi.
JDM Y1 came on the CRX SiR.
The S1, J1, A1, and YS1 all have a 4.4 FD and similar gears.
The Y1 has a 4.26 FD.
This means that the S1, J1, A1, YS1 have about 5% shorter gears than the Y1.

ya I've got a y1 in an 88dx and my friend has an s1 in a 91 si and he can leave me on the highway. But I plan on going turbo and the y1 will allow me to stay in the same gear longer.

i got it for the LSD caus ei needed it is the y1 better than a hydro gsr's ratios
Ok, now for my question, the y1 came from the crx SIr, but the j1 and s1 came from the integra's, now, the j1 and s1 have the same ratio's but what is the difference, i've heard it has to do with the year integra it came out of, but what year corresponds with the tranny code. Thanks a bunch.
