ok, i know this is pretty gay, BUT i want to get an authentic Integra type R key from before the ECU's had the transponders inside. are these available from the honda dealer? i seem to remember that the key's were metallic on the round end? anyone have a pic they can post or any details on this key? thanks!!

yes, stay away from the cheap ebay knockoffs, you'll regret it like i did...

 

LOL, my local Acura dealership tried to charge me $54.00 and told me his cost was $45.00

I suppose, but even the $45 Acura key starts to look rather worn after a year or two.

 

Knock offs are all plastic and the lettering isn't as good. I had one as a spare key though and it wasn't too bad. The real ones look like crap after a while as well...
