Default stupid question about a crx, and question about d16a6 motor.

Does a american version crx have a back seat.. I've seen pictures of crx's with backseats but i think they are not from america.. and all the pictures i have seen on ebay seem to have no backseat at all....
Is it possible to put a backseat in a crx?...or do they come with one.

and now onto the d16a6 motor..I plan on buying a 90 civic hb si this weekend.. and that is the engine, i dont want to swap.. atleast not anytime soon, so i decided im going to go header, intake, exhaust... right away, Do the powercore headers fit that model car? for intake im thinking aem but i would like to know the difference between cold air intake and short ram air intake, and exhaust 5zigen catback. Will i have a proble finding parts for this model car?

Ok thanks for any help...

About the D16 .... The money you will spend on a header, intake and cat back will be 1200-1500 easily if its nice stuff. Right. Save your money goto the bone yard and spend 300-500 on an LS engine with between 90,000 and 120,000 on it. OR.... Import an LS from Japan for 1500-2000 http://www.ardperformance.com

ZC Engine & Transmission
1.6 DOHC 16V Non VTEC 130HP Honda motor. Direct from Japan. Includes engine and transmission (For 88-91 Civic/CRX Si Direct bolt in motor , no motor mounts required) Truck freight usually runs $250 within the US.

Engine and Trans for $895.95
Engine Only for $649.95

You can get a JDM back seat off of plenty of sights or ebay and it bolts right into the CRX. As for his price quotes there is no way you would spend that much on a header, intake, and exhaust you could spend like 500 or so if you looked at the right places or even bought used even if you bought it all new there are plenty of very good exhaust header and intakes that you could buy for very decent prices you could get a good header for like 150 a good intake for like 50 and a good exhaust for like 300 so your looking at like 500 give or take a few hundred depending on what brands you go with you can always find good prices on ebay for all sorts of aftermarket for the D-series if its not somehting you want to do (a motor swap) stick with the D-series there is a lot of potential there if you want it to be.

yeah you can put a back seat in there but there still isnt room enough to be comfortable... your head will be up against the glass and there is absolutly NO leg room... and to back up Vince cause he is a good seller... evern if you bought top of the line I/H/E and paid top dollar for them you wouldnt be spending any more then $1000... if you shop around and buy smart you could spend like $500...

well the back seat would not be for me, so i can care less lol... no but seriously, this is an "extra" car i already have a 96 galant, i only really need a backseat just in case... Plus if i did use the backseat it would be for a baby seat or two.... But i wont do the backseat untill the summer, ill consentrate on the motor first if anything... Theres a crx on ebay with a d16 vtech swap... Although the exterior as rust damage, i might be thinking about that one....

This is why you dont listen to people with 3 posts on their account... you neglected to tell him about the other $500+ parts he would need, hmm like a B series trans? motor mounts? ECU? shift linkage? Axles? F-ing idiot.

Now the ZC would be a good choice because you would not need the above mentioned parts, just a tiny bit of rewiring...
