If I wear to get exhaust now and get a turbo later will i have to get an exhaust ment for a turbo or does it really matter?

 

well depending on how fast you are going to get the turbo..oh say within a month or so...you can get a exhaust for turbo until you get a turbo..but u might hurt performance a little bit...maybe not...but if you go turbo...may I and other people suggest a 3' inch mandrel bent exhaust tubing???

 

so better to buy a turbo exhaust now(3") over a 2.5" or 2 1/4"inch? It would prob be the end of the summer at the latest before i can have the money to buy the kit

 

Why not just get it all at the same time? Running a turbo sized exhaust (3 inch mandrel) on an N/A car will totally suck and be really loud......just keep saving your dimes, exhausts aren't really worth it on N/A cars anyways

Take your second muffler (the one after the resonator) off for now if you really really wanna do something That's my setup on my 5th gen, and it sounds mean as hell, not nasty/ricey either. You'll get some gains out of it while you're saving for your turbo kit and exhaust setup.
