Default How about EXPO 4 talk?

I know expo 3 hasnt happened yet, but why not start thinking about expo 4?

After speaking with several people here, we came up with this. (SGT, I'm not letting you take all the credit for this one)

MIR

I'm sure they would be more than Happy to host a date, and maybe we can get a full weekend!

What do you think?

Or at least some place in the middle of the country!
I think this year's "event" will open up a few more doors for the next one!

As it should be. But it had better be just as big. I think someone familiar with track events should head it up and I would be happy to help. I can confdentally say I will be flying out again like I did last time at the very least.

I will have plenty of time to dedicate to this as of Arpil 14th and I think showing them a LARGE and SUCCESSFUL event should open some doors to tracks.

I'd like to hear some folks close to the west coast but NOT in Cali chime in with good track options. Maybe an Arizona (chad) or Utah or Nevada. Vegas perhaps?!?

I can only imagine a Las Vegas event...

Just don't go for Laguna...they'll black flag over 90% of the drivers for "excessive noise"

Vegas would be pretty awesome. I don't want to commit to anything right now but my aunt has a big house there, culdasac (sp?) we could park some cars there, not sure about 30+ but it would sure be a sight.

Oh ya, bbq would be in full effect.

I think Roebling Road, In Savannah Georgia Should also be considerd!

Its an Awesome 2.2 mile Freshly Paved Track , And Also A hott Test bed for The likes of, CART, Trans AM, And Many other Real Racecar Sancs!

I have Raced on almost Every Track On the East coast, And this one Is One of the Best!

Spring Mountain Motor Sports Park in Pahrump Nevada might be worth considering:

http://www.redhotriders.com/smmsp_info.htm

http://www.onelapadventure.com/springmountain.html

http://www.ugofast.com/Schedule/Trac...D=42&SportID=5

Scott, who thinks this would be a pretty good compromise....of course the best compromise of all would be a Central US ITR Expo at Heartland in Topeka Kansas...

How about having it in Texas? Its right in the between both coast and we have a pretty good number of Type R's right behind California. I was thinking Texas Motor Speedway for this event. They just finished the roadrace course in the middle of the speedway. Plus I heard its one of the best tracks in the country. The only thing is that it would probably cost a grip but im sure everyone will gladly pay the extra money cause I know I would. Just giving u guys something to think about.
I agree a Texas event would be good since its right in my backyard. I sure as hell would pay extra for that one. You are right there are alot of Type R's here in Texas. I know of six type R's that are owned by my friends and I know I have seen at least 7 or 8 just cruising around and that is just in the DFW area. Just think about all the ones in Houston and Austin. I dont know much about the track but I went to their site and it looked really good.

I vote for MAM (Mid-America Motorplex) in glenwood Iowa.

Only 20 mins from me and smack dab in the middle of the country.

Larkin who favors this obviously because its close
